A Scrap booker     Scrapbook

A Gardener

A Horse Lover
One wonderfully silly horse
named Mr. Nubians

A Bird Nest Collector
(so I must also love birds)

A Dog Owner
We have 3 dogs: Two are Jack Russells who we named Ruby Jane & Maggie.  One is a yellow lab named Thistle.  Thistle was born on Christmas Eve, so the Christmas Story came into play.

A Cat Owner     Lucy is 15 years old and she's blind.  If cats have nine-lives, she must have been a red head in her past life, because she's a handful in this life!  But she gets around better than most who can see.

Nanny Goats' Momma
Sarah Jane and Mary Alice.
A regular petting-zoo we have!

I love all these furry creatures - just as though they were my kids. They give me birthday, mothers day, and Christmas cards - and sometimes little gifts!  Aren't I lucky?

My Passions
I have so many things that I am passionate about.

I love to...

----  Create things - anything - cards, photos
  ----  Sew
---- Play with wood. The smell of fresh cut lumber -
Oh my - You can’t beat it
----  Be outside with my hands in the dirt.
I usually have it all over me but that's okay
----  To Scrapbook.  If you take me to a place with
scrapbook stuff, I will have died and gone to heaven!

I truly hope there is a place in heaven where we can be creative and are inspired to do our best work. I have started doing more journaling with my scrap pages, so as to leave a little piece of who I am (and the people and things that were and are important to me).

That's why why I like to take photographs so much.  For a brief moment it stops time so we can reflect on what was going on in our lives at that time.

That is why I like to do photos in a natural way, unrehearsed, a little silly, crazy or sad....whatever the moment.

We seldom go around with a posed smile or position - but are waiting on life to happen - so we can capture those moments, preserve them, and treasure them.

The Rest of My Life
I have saved the best thing in my life for last that is my wonderful husband, Jim.
We are blessed with living on a small farm in Jonesborough, Tennessee where we work and play together.
There are not enough words to express the love I have for this man.  He is truly a one of a kind: hard working, loyal to a fault, honest, loves his family dearly, and a great friend to all who know him.
He has been supportive of me in my endeavors, whatever they may be.  He's a wonderful provider, and Oh My so very handsome.  One would get the impression he might just be perfect from my description....but, nope, he is just loved by one very lucky women…he is my biggest passion.

So now you know a little about me and some of the things that are important relating to my family & hobbies.

I have so many other thing to talk about that will come later with pictures and such and will keep you updated on the happenings of this crazy, silly, and busy photographer.

I hope you've enjoyed my story and I look forward to meeting you too - my new friends and clients.
